The Starting Point

In this era of content explosions, the overwhelming number of podcast options leaves users with nothing more valuable than confusion. Draining themselves across a clutter of numerous long episodes, digging up the right and relevant shows, and keeping themselves updated across more topics of interest have brought more work than rewards. My Podcast Today envisions something entirely different from any conventional podcast—a personalised audio digest that summarises all the curating and producing effects it would have for the user. What they needed to fulfil such a promise was not only a brilliant idea; they needed something that would be a seamless automated product, highly scalable and digital.

Our Journey Begins

Renewed dimensions of ambition propelled Esferasoft’s entry. To create a personalised podcast engine, we had to build it from scratch to gather content from all across the web, present it in an engaging audio format, and distribute it daily in a timely manner. All these tasks had to be done in a premium-feeling, intelligent way that was emotionally in sync with the user.

Execution & Innovation

Towards genre-dependent summarization

It created an extracted technique of kind, requiring individual summaries created for all genres of content without compromise to information overlap, being one of AI-based tools that accessible via an API to develop more resources for content monetizing, tagging options, etc.

AI Voice Tech

We imported premium text-to-speech software that transformed articles into natural-text posterior audio presents that invoke valuing kindness to the listener, with the option of choosing the tone and voice style thereof.

Minimalist UX

We have created an onboarding flow that is extremely user-friendly, allowing users to easily select the type of content, podcast length, voice gender, and delivery time.

Automated Podcast Pipeline

The system organises the audio content every day, wraps it in a brand’s audio style, and then sends it through links to emailed podcasts—none for apps, none for downloading.

The Roadblocks We Overcame

Voice Naturalisation : To achieve a warm and human-sounding record instead of a fake one, one would need to adjust voice parameters and prepare the content as one would speech.

Timezone Scheduling : Creating such a system required a modular, multi-thread perspective scheduler for the delivery of customised podcasts based on global time preferences.

Content Licensing & Filtering : That meant creating a whitelist-based content parser with auto-cleanups to avoid being caught in the fault of reliance on reliable sources and copyright violations.

The Impact & Results

The launch was met with powerful momentum and immediate traction.

Thousands of personalised podcasts were generated and delivered in the first weeks of the rollout.

Average listening time was more than 85% of the total podcast duration, which shows high content relevance.

The growth of subscribers tripled month over month, largely due to word-of-mouth and sharing via email.
